Opening Night of "Beauty and the Beast" was a Big Success!

May 25, 2016
  • Delphi LA’s production of Beauty and the Beast, with book and lyrics by R. Eugene Jackson and music by David Ellis, got off to a great start on Opening Night! Students from 4th grade through high school were able to be a part of this exciting show. Taking on challenging roles, learning fast-paced dialogue, in addition to all the new songs and choreography, was quite the task. Add to that school homework, other school activities, as well as outside responsibilities (like Boy Scouts, sports teams and other theatrical productions) and one can see the challenge a young person faces when taking on a school play at Delphi. Giving students these kinds of opportunities to expand and grow, and to apply what they are learning are hallmarks of the Delphi Program.
