Anti-Drug March
Marching down Foothill/Sunland Blvd with a police escort, the Delphi Academy and Verdugo Hills High School Interact Clubs put on the first Annual Sunland/Tujunga Drug-Free March. The students started at Bolton Hall on Commerce Avenue and ended at Sunland Park where the estimated 200 marchers, onlookers and staff manning booths could link up along a common purpose: to free the community of drugs. The Delphi Interact Club was created by the Delphi Student government last February and is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 14 to 18. |
