Procedure

  1. Whenever possible, visiting Delphi during regular school hours is recommended as a first step to getting to know our school.
  2. Personal interviews are conducted with the student and the parents.
  3. An optional Visiting Day for the applicant can be arranged. The prospective student will be paired up with a student of his/her same age and have the opportunity to spend a day in the school, participating in all activities.
  4. If not already done, an Admissions Application is completed and submitted along with the $100 admissions fee. (Download application forms here.)
  5. Applicant does initial admissions testing, scheduled through the Admissions Office. This step can be done during the Visiting Day.
  6. Based on the initial admissions testing, applicant is invited to enroll. The applicant receives a full set of enrollment forms to complete and further enrollment interviews are scheduled with both the applicant and the parents.
  7. A deposit of $350 is required to hold the student's place in the school.
  8. The student's most recent report card and teacher recommendations are submitted to the school along with the remainder of the enrollment forms.
  9. Once the application has been evaluated, interviews completed, and academic records and tests reviewed, the applicant and parents are notified as to whether the student has been formally accepted.
